Creative Direction, Illustrations
In this series of digital illustrations, the red anemone, which has become a symbol of hope and the struggle to return the hostages, tells Israel’s story since October 7th. The illustrations explore the space between hope and pain through three perspectives: a field of anemones rising in darkness, a dark maze of tunnels, and a single, proud anemone.
The choice of the anemone symbolizes the relentless struggle of the hostages’ families, the unrelenting longing, and the unity formed around the fight for their return. The contrast between the intense red and deep black reflects the tension between light and darkness, between pain and hope, offering through art a space for coping and healing.
Through these illustrations, I invite viewers into a reflective narrative, honoring the enduring spirit of resilience and remembrance
