In this series of digital illustrations, the red anemone, which has become a symbol of hope and the struggle to return the hostages, tells Israel’s story since October 7th. The illustrations explore the space between hope and pain through three perspectives: a field of anemones rising in darkness, a dark maze of tunnels, and a single, proud anemone.

The choice of the anemone symbolizes the relentless struggle of the hostages’ families, the unrelenting longing, and the unity formed around the fight for their return.
